About the author: Father S. Joseph Krempa has been the pastor of St. Mary's
Church in Alexandria, Virginia (Diocese of Arlington) since 1991. He received
his law degree from George Washington University in 1981. He has prior
degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo, the University of
Notre Dame and St. John's Seminary in East Aurora, New York. He was admitted to the bar in Washington DC in 1982.
