Forty reflections for women experiencing hardship of any kind. Each meditation examines a different situation, feeling, issue or crisis faced by women. Through her wise words combined with a scripture passage and an original heartfelt prayer in each reflection, Woelfel offers courage and comfort, hope and solace to all women young and old whether they be single, divorced, widowed or married. All women who have experienced hardship-including serious illness, death of a loved one, divorce, discrimination, abuse, financial distress and other problems-will welcome this beautifully written set of reflections on the spirituality that can be found in the midst of life’s suffering and sorrow. The Light Within will also be welcomed by those in ministry to women, counselors and others working with those who are suffering sadness or loss.
