Easter 3BPrayers for Worship
by Linda KraftLet us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus, for all people according to their needs. Astonishing Lord God, you amaze us with your marvelous deeds. You shower your generous love on all people. We pray for those who dont yet recognize your grace in their lives, that they may hear the Good News and glorify your name. Help us to witness to your never-ending presence so hearts will be turned to you. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer. (Acts 3:12-19) Gracious Lord God, we call on you to hear our prayers. We pray for people who live in fear in their homes. We pray for people who suffer from our prejudice and hatred. We pray for the faith to live each day showering your love upon others. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer. (Psalm 4) Loving Lord God, you promise us, as your children that we will someday be righteous as you are righteous. Guide us as we live each day, that we may grow in faith and live lives that make us worthy of being called children of God. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer. (1 John 3:1-7) God of resurrection peace, strengthen our faith, increase our wisdom, and send us out in your name as you sent your first disciples. Make us generous in sharing your good news through our words and actions. Make us bold to proclaim your reign in all places at all times. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer. (Luke 24:36b-48) God of power and might, encircle your children with your healing touch, especially ... Are ther others we should include in our prayers? Give us your peace and presence at all times. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer. Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
