Prayer for Worship

God of our endings and new beginnings,
Make your Presence known, in ways that are so obviously and lovingly
yours, to all you have called together and all whom you have sent out
to new territories.  Give them a certain boldness, an amount of
courage, a generous portion of compassion and an overflowing of your
Love to share as you introduce them to your beloved children ... those
who are new to them and always known by you.  Give them clarity of
thought, Oh God, in their preparations for the sharing of your Word.
Servanthood is not easy.  They need rest.  Breathe into them the rest
that they will need and pour over them the strength that is required.
God of Peace, give them peace.  Amen.
