Luke 1:39-45 [possible tune MARTYDOM HaP 416: CM] 1. From Nazareth in Galilee Young Mary made her way, Her cousin in the hills to see Three months with her to stay. 2. The angel Gabriel had told Of coming baby joy; Elizabeth thought barren, old, Carried a baby boy. 3. And Mary had her news to share Of how the angel came, Told of the baby she would bear, Jesus to be his name. 4. Elizabeth heard Mary come As did her unborn boy; The Spirit filled that pregnant mum Her baby leapt for joy. 5. So blest be Mary, chosen one, Who said, ‘Yes, may it be’; Blest be her baby, God’s own Son, Conceived mysteriously.
