Phone rings...

Boy (whispering): Hello?

Caller: Hi there. I'm calling for Cold Call Sales. Could I speak to your mother?

Boy: She's busy.

Caller: Well then, would your father be around?

Boy: He's busy.

Caller: Is there somebody a little older around, maybe a brother or sister?

Boy (still whispering): I have an older sister.

Caller: Could I speak to her please?

Boy: She's busy, too.

Caller: Goodness! Is there anybody else around...an adult?

Boy: The police are here.

Caller: Gee, maybe you could put one of them on the phone.

Boy (still quieter): They're busy.

Caller: There has to be somebody else there I can talk to.

Boy: Some firemen are here.

Caller: I really think I should speak to somebody there. Put one of the firemen on the phone, please.

Boy: They're all busy.

Caller: Come on son, your whole family is busy and even the police and fire departments are there and too busy to come to the phone! What is everybody doing?

Boy (whispering still): Looking for me.
