Sirach 15: 16-21

There is a motion picture entitled "Meet Joe Black" which details the last several days of a man who learns that he is about to die. William Parrish, a wealthy communications magnate, meets Death in person, and finds out that his days are numbered. The premise of the film is that Death is interested in human life, and wants to observe and experience life as a human being while he waits to take Mr. Parrish to "the next place." The result is a serious look at values, the meaning of existence, what we leave behind us as our legacy, and, most important, our relationships and family.
